25 Pencil Roughs

During the 25 pencil roughs activity, I have to use these type of ideas because my logo company is based on sportwear goods. I have chose to make logos based on sportswear goods because I enjoy playing sports with my friends and family, especially soccer and basketball, since I have played it since I was a kid. My logo is based on characteristics such as energetic and staying healthy. So I drew my 25 logos based on having those characteristics. I have taken inspiration to my logos from many different companies I go to buy my clothing's at, such as Nike, Supreme etc. I also taken inspiration from lyft since the design and color of that logo was very neat and nice. It has taken me a while to complete these roughs. I liked my lift logo more than the rest because it had a significant adjective for my sportswear logo and encouraged me to keep going forward when playing sports. My second favorite was Onky because it had a weird name, but had a sports feeling towards the logos I will work on. But overall, I enjoyed doing this activity in order to make my logos be more realistic via Adobe Illustrator. 

5 Electronic Roughs

While working on my 5 Electronic logos via Adobe Illustrator, I picked my 5 best logos that people chose for me in order to start this project. For example the logos ONKY, BTS, Lift, Skillfit and Drenched were the 5 logos that the people chose. I will say the same thing because it has a significant feeling towards my sportswear company. In this project I created these logos but with 5 different models and colors to see which one was the best to continue on with the two selects. My favorite one was the lift and ONKY because the design that I made were very nice and could create many different design and had many thoughtful ideas for these logos. It also has a nice attitude towards my designs. Overall I enjoyed this activity because even though I had trouble doing it in the first place, I enjoyed doing this activity because it helps us a students think a lot to whether each logo has a significant feeling towards our attitude on the logos we created. So at the end, we on our own selected which two logos were the best ones to do on the next step towards the two selects.

Two Selects

During my two selects project activity, I have chosen my two best logos to work on from my 5 electronic sketches. The logos I have chosen for this is ONKY Goods and Lift. I have chosen to do these logos because like I said before, I like the Adjectives it has towards my sportswear company. So during this activity I had to create 25 different logos and designs using those two ideas in order to choose my final tweaks for my design. My favorite design on all of my 25 design was the ONKY Goods with the lightning bolt because it was one of my favorite design based on being energetic, powerful and strong on playing sports everyday. It can also encourage people who will go to my company to feel that this logo can help them be more energetic everyday and to exercise everyday. Overall during this activity I enjoyed making all of these designs because not only was it very creative, but also very interactive towards my logos in order to be more specific and meaningful towards my logo and company. So the logo I have chosen for my final tweaks was ONKY Goods with the colorful design with the lightning bolt. 

Final Tweaks

During my final tweaks of my logo, this activity was based on precisement and spacing. I chose my design of the ONKY Lightning bolt design since it was the best one out of my 25 design from the two logos. So in this activity we had to space out the letters of our logos inside of my letter O and moving out my 10 logos. So in this case, I had fun messing around with the letters inside of my logo such as the letters N, K, and Y. I tried to space out these letters by moving them around the O. By doing this activity, it helped me be more creative on my logos as spacing can give a pleasant and eye catching look to our layout design. Overall this project and this final tweaks for my design logos has been a fun experience to work in and the help received from my teacher. The favorite logo I have enjoyed doing was the red O with the yellow lightning bolt since it has a significant feeling to people to be electric everyday anywhere. This logo can also represent to people that they can get healthier when exercising at a high level.  

Final

During all of these activities and the project as a whole has been challenging and fun to learn as the same time. During my first activity, the drawing of all of my 25 logos had been very challenging since I'm not that great in drawing, but with the time and help of my teacher, I tried my best on working on that section as a whole. From there, I chose my best drawings of my logo designs and created 5 electronic sketches from my drawings. I've used Adobe Illustrator to create all of these designs from my drawings by using tools from the app in order to help me design it perfectly. From there on I chose 2 of my best logos designed by me which were ONKY Goods and Lift chosen from my classmates. Then after designed 25 designs using different bases from my two designs to help me create two of my best designs. In my final tweaks section, I've used spacing and creativity in order to mess around with my final logo and my best designed logo. Overall during this project and activities, it was a fun experience to do in working together and improving as a whole.
